Mr. Gabriel Olusegun Obando

Ex-Officio

Gabriel Olusegun Obando, a  Communications, Public Relations, Sustainable Development and Project Management expert, is a recent statutory retiree from Nigeria’s public service.

Blessed with a wife and children, Gabriel and family hail from  Ogidi-Ela community in  Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi West,  the Yoruba part of Kogi State, Central Nigeria.

A new Senior who recently relocated to Ottawa,  he is currently engaged in offering  communications and management support to OB&O, an Ottawa- based Afro-Caribbean Restaurant and Catering outfit that also offers a delightful pub experience.

Gabriel is a strong believer that a greater Nigeria is realisable, but only under a restructured,  truly federated system where constituent parts take  control of their political and  socio-economic life, contributing a fraction of resources to the center for the running of shared national institutions; in contra distinction to the current rapacious,  self-serving unitary system that encourages state capture.
